Project Manager - Special Projects

Special projects are your focus, and you play a key role in ensuring that tailored product requests become structured, manageable, and successful projects.

Working closely with our sales organisation, you help uncover and refine customer requirements, challenge assumptions when needed, and create a solid foundation for each project. From early scoping to pricing, forecasting, and technical setup flows, you make sure every step follows Mascot’s procedures and supports both customer expectations and business goals.

You bring together colleagues across departments, maintain a sharp overview of timelines, budgets, and quality, and communicate proactively with all stakeholders. With your structured approach, clear communication, and customer-oriented mindset, you ensure that even the most complex special projects run smoothly and are delivered with professionalism, precision, and impact.

Your role:

As Project Manager, you will:

• Lead the development, management, and execution of cross-departmental projects from start to finish.
• Drive all special projects, translating customer-specific needs into clear requirements and structured project plans.
• Take full responsibility for both special projects and customer processes, ensuring a professional experience in quality, efficiency, and service — while securing minimal resource use and risk for Mascot.
• Coordinate closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, refine expectations, and secure solid project foundations.
• Manage key technical tasks such as WEB PDM setups, SAP order creation, BOM verification, and cost calculations.
• Handle pricing, forecasting, and product setups for major customers, covering both customised and standard product solutions.
• Communicate proactively with Mascot teams in Vietnam and Laos regarding production, samples, and project progress.
• Source and evaluate quotations from external suppliers and follow up on sample development.
• Prepare professional customer quotations and ensure transparency around project profitability and risks.
• Ensure that project outcomes positively support other parts of the organisation — both in terms of professional standards and clear communication.

What you bring:

• Hands-on project management experience — ideally from textiles or another manufacturing setting — with a solid understanding of how to plan, execute, and finalise projects efficiently
• A technical textile background or a commercial education, combined with strong business insight and a practical mindset
• Excellent analytical skills and ease working with numbers, structured processes, and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage)
• A clear and adaptable communication style: you present information professionally and ensure smooth dialogue with customers, sales teams, and internal specialists
• A structured approach to organisation: you manage timelines, prepare clear documentation, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain full overview throughout each project
• A proactive and solution-oriented attitude — you take ownership of your projects, make informed decisions, and keep progress moving
• Positive energy and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams
• Strong language skills: you are fluent in English, and speak also Dutch or French; Danish is an advantage
