At MASCOT, fabrics are at the heart of our products. As our new Fabric Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that the fabrics used in our workwear production meet the high standards expected by professional users around the world.
You will join our Sourcing & Quality Department at our head office in Pårup, Denmark, where you will work closely with colleagues across sourcing, quality, product development, design, special orders, logistics, corporate responsibility and our factories in Vietnam and Laos. The role also involves close cooperation with fabric suppliers and testing labs in Denmark and Vietnam.

What you’ll do
As Fabric Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that fabric quality, colour and performance requirements are clearly defined, documented and followed up in close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining quality agreements with suppliers and ensuring that relevant testing data and documentation are available.
- Approving supplier lab dips and ensuring that all relevant colour data is registered and archived.
- Maintaining SAP data and creating inspection plans.
- Maintaining fabric specifications for internal use and sourcing purposes.
- Communicating corrections to fabric specifications and website information to Marketing.
- Archiving supplier contracts and related documentation.
- Ensuring that suppliers provide the required reports and documentation for certified fabrics, and that data is properly registered and stored.
- Following up on supplier quality issues, claims and corrective actions.
- Monitoring supplier performance over time and reporting quality performance to the Head of Sourcing and Quality.
- Working closely with product development, design and procurement to advise on fabric selection and feasibility.
- Collaborating with testing labs in Denmark and Vietnam to ensure that the correct testing methods and protocols are applied consistently across fabric evaluations.
Who you are
You bring solid textile quality expertise and understand how fabric performance, supplier follow-up, testing documentation and structured data registration all contribute to reliable production.
We imagine that you have:
- 10+ years of experience in the textile industry, preferably within quality and product development.
- Knowledge of performance fabrics and/or workwear fabrics.
- Understanding of dyeing, finishing, textile testing and inspection processes.
- Experience with fabric sourcing and supplier management.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a technical and negotiation level.
- Confidence working with SAP, PLM, SharePoint or other digital supply chain tools.
