Fabric Development Coordinator
Are you ready to build your career within fabric development and textile sourcing?
Do you enjoy coordinating details, following up with suppliers and keeping processes on track?
Would you like to join an international Danish growth company with quality and responsibility at its core?
Support the development of the fabrics behind the world’s best workwear
At MASCOT, fabrics are an essential part of our products. As our new Fabric Development Coordinator, you will support our Fabric Development team in managing fabric development activities from concept through to commercialisation.
You will coordinate with suppliers, mills and internal teams to ensure timely follow-up on development, testing, approvals, documentation and production readiness.
The position is based at our head office in Pårup, Denmark, and you will be part of our Procurement area, reporting to the Head of Procurement & Quality.
Please note: To be considered for this position, you must already hold a valid work and residence permit that allows you to work in Denmark — or within the EU. Unfortunately, we are not able to consider candidates who do not already have the necessary permit in place.
The opportunity / what we offer
This is an exciting opportunity for a textile professional who wants to grow within fabric development, sourcing, supplier coordination and sustainability-related documentation.
You will join an international environment where structured follow-up, collaboration and attention to detail are key to ensuring that fabric developments move forward efficiently and accurately.
Your tasks / what you’ll do
You will support the Fabric Development team throughout the development process.
Your main tasks include:
- Coordinating communication with suppliers and mills.
- Following up on samples, lab dips, testing and approvals.
- Maintaining development plans, reports and documentation.
- Supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier follow-up and production readiness.
- Helping ensure documentation, certification compliance and traceability of recycled materials.
You will work with systems such as MS Office, SAP, MS Teams and MS SharePoint.
Your skills / who you are / what you bring
We imagine that you have:
- 1–2 years of experience from the textile and/or apparel industry.
- Knowledge of fabric development, documentation and quality processes.
- Interest in supply chain management, recycled materials and textile certifications.
- Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
Experience with suppliers in Asia or the East is an advantage, but not a requirement.
It is important that you are already legally entitled to work in Denmark or the EU through a valid work and residence permit.
What drives you
You are proactive, curious and detail-oriented. You enjoy structure, follow-up and clear communication, and you take pride in making sure that tasks are completed correctly and on time.
You work well independently, but you also value close collaboration with colleagues, suppliers and production partners.
