Key Account Manager - Workwear and Safety Footwear Sales - Oulu Area

We are looking for an active field salesperson with a strong hunter mindset, who is passionate about finding new customers. This position is purely canvassing sales, and the objective is to continue our growth with companies switching to MASCOT workwear and safety footwear. 

You will spend a large part of your day in the field, seeking out end-customer sales opportunities. You work independently, identifying prospects and converting them into serious customer relationships – to the benefit of end customers, our distributors, and Mascot.

Our products are loved by users, especially for their high comfort and durability, and it is your job to convince both users and buyers why it pays off to choose MASCOT quality. We never sell our products directly to end customers; all sales are always conducted via our distributor network.

Your task is to secure the deal and then hand the customer over to one of our distributors, who will take over the ongoing relationship. In other words, your role is not to build long-term relationships – you are here to open doors, convince, and pass the ball. 

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Active, targeted outbound B2B sales to mid-size and large companies in relevant sectors, such as construction, industry, energy, property maintenance, transport, logistics and utilities. 

  • Present the value of the products and solutions with a focus on comfort, quality, and total cost of ownership. 

  • Convince decision-makers and ensure an effective handover to the distributor. 

  • Work closely with the distributor-responsible Area Sales Manager, who will be your main colleague in the area. 

  • Keep track of sales activities and report to management. 

 

We Imagine You Are Someone Who 

  • Is Fluent in Finnish, with the ability to communicate in English. 

  • Is based in the Oulu area and ready to have around 50 – 60 travel days annually, covering in the beginning of employment Pohjois-Pohjanmaa, Keski-Pohjanmaa, Pohjois-Savo, Pohjois-Karjala, Kainuu and Lappi sale areas. 

  • Has 5+ years of proven B2B experience in active field sales with new mid-size and large customers within workwear, safety footwear, or PPE. 

  • Thrives in a high-activity environment and driven by results. 

  • Has a mindset of a true hunter, not a farmer-type salesperson. 

  • Demonstrates strong impact, independent working style, and ability to argue for long-term value over price.
