We are looking for a dynamic and strategic salesperson with a hunter mindset, who is passionate about identifying and developing new business opportunities.
This role focuses on acquiring large end-user companies in collaboration with our distributors. Sales cycles may be long and complex, involving tenders and strategic planning, but the goal is clear: to grow MASCOT’s presence in the workwear and safety footwear market.
You work independently, identifying opportunities that must be converted into serious customer relationships – to the benefit of all parties.
The products are well-known and loved by users – especially for their high comfort and durability. Furthermore, MASCOT focuses on a wide range of services that are recognized as added value in the process. It is your job to convince both users and buyers why choosing MASCOT’s quality and concept pays off.
Closing the sale is a process you manage together with a MASCOT dealer, who takes over the ongoing relationship with the end user. Your talent for creating new business opportunities, followed by close cooperation between the MASCOT dealer and the MASCOT team, is essential to our growth ambitions and long-term vision.
Your responsibilities:
- Targeted outbound B2B sales to relevant sectors with more than 50 employees, such as construction, industry, energy, utilities, transport, agriculture, logistics, etc.
- Present the value of the products & concept with a focus on comfort, quality, and total cost of ownership
- Convince decision-makers and ensure an effective handover to the dealer
- Keep track of sales activities and report to management
What you bring:
- You speak fluent Dutch and French and can communicate in English
- Preferably, you are based in the Brussels region, or work from your home office.
- You should be prepared for 30–40 travel days per year, with a portion of these in Denmark
- Proven experience in new business development and B2B sales – ideally within industries focused on quality and/or technical products.
- Thrive in a high-activity environment and are driven by results
- Strong at arguing for long-term value over price
- Have impact, work independently, and are skilled at closing deals
